Right on time to celebrate Earth Day (April 22), GIER communicated the results of its Small Grants Program. With an investment of CAD 111,000 GIER is funding eight new environmental research projects.
These eight projects involve interdisciplinary collaborations and reflect a wide range of themes within the environmental sciences: from green approaches to removing contaminants from water, to the impact of fish hatcheries on sustainability, to the establishment of a northern research hub.
